My name is Sara and I was born and raised in Eastern Kentucky. I lived here until I moved to Georgia for two years for graduate school, and then ended up moving to Spokane, Washington for a couple of years for my husband to complete school. We are happy to be back in Kentucky as it is truly our home.
I have loved to cook from an early age. I have a collection of over 100 cookbooks, and figured I would start this website as a way to connect with others and share wonderful Appalachian and Southern recipes. I hope you enjoy the site!
